BASC’s vice chair, Claire Sadler, appears in the latest edition of Country Life as the featured portrait in the magazine’s renowned Frontispiece section.
The historic Frontispiece feature, affectionately known as ‘Girls in Pearls,’ has been a hallmark of the publication since 1897, celebrating notable individuals who shape the British countryside.
Claire, who holds the distinction of being the first woman in BASC’s history to serve as vice chair, was invited to take part in this esteemed feature. Claire’s image in Country Life comes shortly after her recent appearance on the cover of Shooting Times, furthering her work as an advocate for women in field sports.
BASC is committed to driving inclusivity in field sports, and encouraging more women to get involved in shooting. You can find out more about BASC’s Women in Shooting initiative here.
