BASC Scholarships

Find out how you can apply for financial assistance to develop your knowledge or fund your studies, over a range of subjects.

Each year, BASC awards scholarships to students studying, or about to begin their studies, on further and higher education courses related to conservation, land management or gamekeeping.

There are two scholarships offered by BASC, the BASC Legacy Funded Scholarship and the BASC Wildlife Fund David Gray Conservation Scholarship. Both 2024 programmes are now open for applications, closing on 28 June 2024.

BASC Legacy Funded Scholarship

BASC’s Legacy Funded Scholarship aims to support and encourage students wishing to develop their knowledge in conservation, land management or gamekeeping.

It provides financial assistance to applicants where a lack of funding could obstruct education and future career paths.

The programme is open to UK citizens, who are either currently a BASC member, or have immediate family who are and while there is no minimum award, the maximum award to an individual is £4,500 per year.
