BASC is pleased to announce that the winner of the 2025 spring gun draw was Mr Melvyn Bowers from Spalding, Lincolnshire.
The prize for the draw was a Browning 825 Game 12-bore over and under shotgun, complete with a superb accessories package.
Mr Bowers requested that the shotgun be delivered to his local gun shop, Elderkin & Son of Spalding.
Elderkin’s, a family-run business and BASC Trade Member for 42 years, kindly facilitated the presentation of the prize to Melvyn by BASC eastern regional officer, Ryan Darby.
A BASC member for more than 19 years, Melvyn said he was “extremely happy” to win the prize package and was delighted to collect the shotgun from Elderkin’s.
Thank you to everyone who took part in the spring gun draw. Proceeds from ticket sales go to the BASC Fighting Fund, which enables BASC to initiate legal challenges to support our members and protect the future of shooting.
Keep an eye on the BASC website for details of our autumn gun draw – announcement to follow soon.
