Only one entry per person per will be accepted.
Entry to the competition is free, and open to BASC members and non-members. Entry is not available to BASC staff members.
The competition runs from Monday 28 October 2024 to 11.59pm on Sunday 15 December 2024.
Prizes are provided by the sponsors as set out in the November/December issue of Shooting and Conservation Magazine, and on our webpage.
Entrants must be 18 or over, and a UK resident. Postage to UK address only. In the case of the prize having a legal restriction (e.g. alcohol) the drawn winner must be able to prove they are a legally appropriate age. Failure to produce proof within seven days will result in a redraw.

There is no cash alternative for any prizes. Most of the prizes are provided directly to the winner from the sponsors, with the exception of BASC, Edgar Brothers, Field and Fireside, Ling Shooting, ITap Group, Harehill and Zeiss, which will be sent directly to the winner by the competition organiser (BASC) via Parcelforce. Prizes cannot be substituted.
The prize of a shooting lesson for up to two people provided by Ling Shooting does not include clays or cartridges.
In addition to the 10 photographs included in the prize provided by Nigel Kirby, additional images will be available for purchase via a password protected link on his website. Additional charges: Please note that this prize is subject to an additional mileage fee if the prize winner lives further than 50 miles away from Sandbach, Cheshire.
The winner will receive their prizes within 30 days of their acceptance unless stated otherwise.
The winner will be notified by email on Monday 16 December after the competition has closed. The winner has seven days to accept the prize and provide any required proof of age/eligibility and delivery address. Failure to do this will result in a redraw.
The winner will be picked at random by the BASC Media team using a randomised digital tool.
We reserve the right to publicise the winner’s name in any post BASC Pheastive Competition promotion unless the winner states otherwise when accepting the prize.
All personal data will only be retained for selecting a winner, unless the entrant has confirmed they wish to receive email communications. Entrants can opt-out of receiving marketing materials, and can access, correct, or request deletion of their personal data in accordance with the GDPR regulations. All personal data from entrants which have not signed-up to the newsletter will be destroyed/deleted by 31 January 2025.
