What is gamekeeping?
Gamekeeping is the managing and balancing of wildlife populations and their habitats to preserve the natural environment.
It is an important practice that helps prevent certain species from becoming overpopulated and negatively affecting the surrounding ecosystem.
Gamekeeping also aids in controlling the spread of disease among wildlife populations and ensures that hunting and fishing are conducted in a safe and sustainable manner.
Gamekeepers are responsible for the care of reared and wild game for sporting shooting and are responsible for the day-to-day management and safe running of a shoot.
