BASC currently has three deer stalking schemes in operation – Baronscourt (Northern Ireland), Bowland and East of England (near Newmarket).
The schemes have been developed to provide a variety of different deer stalking opportunities for members who wish to take up stalking and to provide those with limited access to stalking with the opportunity to gain practical experience and increase their knowledge.

This national qualification is essential in some UK Police forces as a pre-requisite for those involved in supporting the Police at emergency incidents where injured deer are caught up on road networks and within rural or urban environments.
