Could you help shape the future of BASC?

Beaters' line

Do you, or someone you know, have the passion and skills to make a real difference to shooting and conservation? If so, now’s the perfect time to consider standing for election to the BASC Council.

The Council plays a key role in shaping BASC’s future and supporting the interests of its members. Whatever your role or interest in shooting, your unique perspective and experience could make you exactly the right person to help BASC drive progress and overcome challenges.

As a Council member, you’ll guide BASC’s strategy, hold the organisation accountable for delivering on its goals, and make decisions that safeguard the future of shooting sports and conservation.

It’s a chance to bring fresh ideas, advocate for what matters most to you as BASC member, and leave a legacy for future generations.

If you’re thinking, “I could do that!” – or you know someone who would be a great fit – why not put forward a nomination? You’ll need a proposer and a seconder (both BASC members), and nominations must be submitted by Tuesday, 31 December 2024.

This is your opportunity to take an active role in shaping the future of shooting and conservation. For more information and a nomination pack, visit our election pages here or email sandra.forkin@basc.org.uk.

Step up and make your voice count – you could be just what BASC needs! Find out more and nominate here.
