The free BASC air rifle safe shot theory test provides you with a chance to demonstrate you know how to use air rifles confidently and safely in a field-based situation.
The online assessment, which has 25 multiple-choice questions is designed to help you test your knowledge and you will be required to score 80 per cent as a minimum pass mark, You will have 30 minutes to complete the test. If you fail on your first attempt, you can try again.
Please note the theory certificate will be valid for three years, however, you should keep your knowledge up to date throughout this period. You should also ensure you comply with the relevant codes of practice within these areas.
