Voting is now open in the 2026 BASC Council elections, giving you the opportunity to influence the future direction of the association.
There are three candidates standing for one England seat and two candidates standing for one Wales seat. As such, this year you will only be eligible to vote if you are a BASC member residing in England or Wales respectively. All votes must be submitted by 6pm on Monday 25 May.
BASC Council plays a pivotal role in setting the strategic direction of the association, ensuring it effectively represents the interests of its members and the broader shooting and conservation community.
By taking part in the election process, you can help to shape the future leadership and direction of the organisation.
You can vote for your favoured candidate online. To access the voting page, you will need your unique security code.
This code, along with postal ballot form and full voting instructions, is included in the March/April edition of Shooting and Conservation magazine. If you have not yet received your copy, it should be arriving shortly.
If your voting papers have not arrived by Friday 20 March, please contact the independent scrutineers’ election team by email here or by phone on 03452 093 770.
All votes must be submitted by 6pm on Monday 25 May 2026.
