BASC Legacy Sponsorship

The BASC Legacy Sponsorship aims to support and encourage young people keen to pursue competitive clay/target shooting, with a view to representing their country as part of a national team in the future.

The programme is open to UK citizens who are either currently a BASC member, or have immediate family who are. While there is no minimum award, the maximum award to an individual is £3,000 per annum. Up to two awards are given each year.

How to apply

To apply, submit a completed application form by 5pm on 31 October 2024, by either email or by filling in the online application form below.

As well as the application form, each candidate must provide evidence of their own or their immediate family’s BASC membership. Please do not send in membership cards; send in a scan or photocopy of the card along with your application form. Additional information about the scheme and guidance notes for applications are provided further down this page.

Should your application be successful, you must also be happy to assist BASC in the promotion and advertisement of the award through social media, BASC’s Shooting and Conservation magazine, press releases, the provision of images, and by updating on your progress during this process.
