South West
BASC South West
The South West is a predominantly rural area with a wide variety of landscapes including farmland, forestry, moorland and a long coastline. This variety means that there are shooting opportunities to cover every interest – wildfowling, rough shooting, pest control, pigeon shooting, deer stalking and some the best driven game shooting available anywhere. We also boast top quality clay, target, and air rifle shooting venues.
Many people visit the region every year to shoot but there is also a vibrant local shooting community for whom the sport is much more than a pastime – it is a way of life, and a key driver behind the protection and enhancement of our magnificent countryside.
Areas covered: Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Channel Islands, Isles of Scilly.
