Members have elected two new representatives to the BASC Council, following voting for seats in England and Wales.
The results of the 2026 BASC Council elections were announced at the association’s AGM, held earlier today at Marford Mill near Wrexham.
Will Wilkinson was elected to represent England, while Tomos Davies was elected to represent Wales.
Will Wilkinson said: “I’m honoured people voted for me and hope I can justify their trust. I’ll now get up to speed with everything at BASC and help show that we can represent everyone involved in field sports, making evidence-based decisions built on sound principles.”
Tomos Davies said: “I’m absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to serve and represent BASC Wales members on Council. The work BASC does is hugely important, and this will be a crucial year for the association. I look forward to contributing to that work.”
BASC’s governing Council is made up of elected members from across the UK.Â
All full members of the association are eligible to stand for election. Successful candidates serve five-year terms, with a maximum of two terms permitted.
The newly elected Council members will now begin their terms representing members in England and Wales respectively, and will play an integral part in helping to guide the future direction of the association.Â
