Order pick-up trucks before company car tax change affects you

The Government announced in the 2024 Autumn Budget that it will treat double cab pick-up vehicles with a payload of one tonne or more as a company car for tax purposes.

Isuzu UK launches a campaign to urge buyers to secure the Isuzu D-Max double cab pick-up truck before April 2025, when these vehicles will be reclassified as cars for tax purposes.

From April 2025, Benefit in kind (BIK) and Capital Allowances (CA) rates will shift from a flat rate to emissions-based percentages. Purchases before these dates retain current tax benefits.

Isuzu encourages businesses and individuals to act now to avoid increased costs, leveraging transitional rules and preserving favourable tax treatment until 2029 for eligible vehicles.
