New BASC president, the Marquess of Hamilton, visited Marford Mill to meet staff, Council members and the association’s leadership team.
The Marquess’ two-day visit began with lunch prepared by young chefs from Coleg Cambria, followed by a full briefing from BASC chairman Eoghan Cameron, chief executive Ian Bell, vice-chair Claire Sadler and chief operation officer Caroline Bedell.
Lord Hamilton, who was duly elected as BASC president in May 2025, then spent the afternoon touring departments across the association. He met the communications and public affairs team, the firearms team and representatives of the conservation team.Â
He also spoke with staff from training and education, marketing, membership and commercial services, hearing about current work and priorities on behalf of BASC’s 150,000 members.
