This course is designed as a step between DSC1 and DSC2 to advance and prepare students wishing to undertake the DSC2.
Rifle safe shot – theory test
The free BASC rifle Safe Shot online theory test provides you with a chance to demonstrate you have the knowledge on how to use rifles confidently and safely in a field-based situation.
The online assessment, which has 25 multiple-choice questions is designed to help you test your own knowledge and you will be required to score 80 per cent as a minimum pass mark. You will have 30 minutes to complete the test. If you fail on your first attempt, you can try again.
Please note the theory certificate will be valid for three years, however, you should keep your knowledge up to date throughout this period. You should also ensure you comply with the relevant Codes of Practice within these areas.
