Buy BASC Wildlife Fund merchandise and win a wildfowling trip

pintail over wentloog stamp

BASC is celebrating the release of the 2025 BASC Wildlife Fund stamp with a prize draw for an unforgettable day of wildfowling.

This year, supporting the BASC Wildlife Fund by buying 2025 stamps, badges and artwork also gives you the chance to win a fantastic wildfowling trip, thanks to Wentloog Wildfowling and Conservation Association (WWCA).

The day will see you join club members on the Wentloog marshes between Cardiff and Newport. The marshes are the setting for this year’s artwork and one of South Wales’s most distinctive wildfowling grounds.

The 2025 BASC Wildlife Fund stamp and badge, depicting ‘Pintail over Wentloog’ are available for £5 each, with limited edition artwork starting at £30. All merchandise sold helps fund wildlife and habitat projects linked to sustainable shooting.

Anyone who buys (or has already purchased) Pintail over Wentloog merchandise before 31 December 2025 will automatically be included in the draw. Each item purchased is worth one entry into the draw.

Support sustainable shooting

Last year a BASC Wildlife Fund loan of £35,000 enabled WWCA to purchase 932 acres of foreshore southwest of Newport. The site has since benefitted from a Natural Resources Wales-led project, supported by WWCA, to restore saltmarsh habitat.

As well as being the subject of this year’s artwork for the fund, the pintail is one of the priority species highlighted in BASC’s Sustainable Shooting Code of Practice. As part of our commitment to conservation, members are reminded that the code recommends taking no more than two pintail per person per day.
