The Game Fair opens this Friday, 24 July, and BASC is ready for another major presence at Ragley Hall, Warwickshire.

Running until Sunday, 26 July, BASC’s programme will feature an expanded main stand, interactive experiences and expert-led demonstrations across all three days.

Visitors to the BASC stand (V1920 – next to the main arena) will be able to speak to specialists from across the organisation. BASC staff will be on hand to answer questions about deer management, media, training and education, sustainable ammunition, uplands, gamekeeping, wildfowling, firearms, political affairs and membership.

Members and visitors can also join BASC, renew their membership, explore the latest member benefits and discounts, and browse a range of merchandise in the BASC shop.

New for 2026: the BASC Dome

A major new feature for 2026 will be the BASC Dome, located on the corner of the main stand. The area will be a hive of activity across all three show days, with live talks from our experts, practical deer management demonstrations, game cookery, game meat tasters, and much more.

Shotgun coaching on The Shoot Line

If you’re looking to try something new or improve your shooting skills, BASC will once again be offering expert shotgun coaching on The Shoot Line.

The coaching team will provide one-to-one sessions covering safe gun handling, eye dominance, stance, gun fit, and hitting a moving target. All equipment is provided, including cartridges, clay targets, safety gear and shotguns.

If you’re a more experienced shot and plan on bringing your own gun to The Game Fair, we have tailored coaching sessions available, offering technical pointers to help you improve your shooting.

The BASC Shotgun Coaching Experience offers a 30-minute guided session with a qualified coach, suitable for both beginners and more experienced shots looking to refine their technique. Sessions cost £15 for 10 shots and must be booked on the day on a first-come, first-served basis. Suitability will be assessed by coaches on site.

Airgun range returns with new look

The BASC Airgun Line will return in 2026 with an exciting new format, delivered in partnership with Tom’s Targets. Featuring a mix of knock-down, gallery and bell targets, the layout is designed to challenge experienced shooters while remaining accessible to beginners.

A selection of BSA air rifles will be available for use, with experienced mentors on hand to provide guidance and support.

Entry costs £5 and includes a goodie bag and a ticket for a daily raffle, with top prizes including a Hill PCP hand pump. Height restrictions apply.

Gundog scurries for all abilities

The ever-popular BASC Have-A-Go Scurries will return from Friday to Sunday, running from 10am to 3.30pm (last entry).

Entry costs £3 per go or £10 for four attempts, with prizes awarded daily for first, second and third place in each event. Prize giving will take place at 4.15pm each day at the BASC scurry tent.

Events will include Over the Bales, Long Retrieve, Partridge Pen and Pick & Mix, with competitions designed to test speed, teamwork and retrieving ability. All breeds are welcome, with special awards for non-gundog competitors and young handler/dog partnerships. The scurries are sponsored by Skinner’s and Sporting Saint.

BASC Wild Food Kitchen Theatre returns with top chefs

The BASC Wild Kitchen Food Theatre is set to be one of the highlights of the show, celebrating the very best of wild British game.

A strong line-up of chefs will showcase dishes featuring pheasant, wood pigeon, goose, rabbit, hare, venison, wild boar and trout. The programme will range from fine dining dishes and canapés through to simple, everyday game recipes.

Celebrity chef Marco Pierre White will appear alongside Eat Game Awards Chef of the Year winner Callum Leslie, with further appearances from Dick and Angel Strawbridge, Rachel Green, Henry Cole and Merlin Griffiths.

Book your complimentary BASC member tickets

BASC members once again receive complimentary entry to The Game Fair across all three days, with discounted guest tickets available via The Game Fair website. However, members will not be permitted entry without a ticket, so please make sure you get yours before the show opens on Friday 24 July.

Getting to Ragley Hall

The venue is easily accessible from across the country via the M5, M40, M42 and surrounding A-roads. Follow event signage as you approach Ragley Hall which will direct you to the closest entrance and parking.
