BASC-sponsored shooter Bethany Norton has kicked off 2025 in style by securing silver at the Qatar Grand Prix.
As a proud ambassador of BASC’s Legacy Sponsorship Programme, Bethany’s success highlights the programme’s ongoing commitment to developing the next generation of shooting talent.
The Legacy Sponsorship Programme is designed to support target shooters in achieving their full potential on a national and international stage. Bethany’s performance in Qatar is a testament to how the right support and expert guidance can lead to outstanding results.
Competing in her first event as a BASC-sponsored athlete, Bethany delivered a strong performance throughout the competition, finishing qualification in second place before showcasing impressive form in the final to claim silver.
Reflecting on her achievement Bethany said it was “a great start to the year out in Qatar for the 2025 Grand Prix, and my first competition as a BASC ambassador. I had a strong start on day one and, despite a little wobble at the start of the final, I found my form and fought right to the end to secure the silver medal.
“A special thank you to BASC for believing in me and for their support – I look forward to representing them more this season.”
