The Game Fair returns this weekend and we will be there with a packed schedule of demonstrations and events planned to complement the main
BASC stand.
Whether it’s shopping, shooting or sunshine you’re after this weekend, The Game Fair is certain to deliver.
Starting on Friday 29 July, the three-day event returns to Ragley Hall, and promises to be bigger and better than ever, with well over 100,000 visitors expected in Warwickshire.
As official partner of the event you can experience everything BASC has to offer, including complimentary entry if you are already a member. Click here for full details and make sure you book and download your tickets before midnight on 28 July.
Our main stand can be found at C002 which is just off the Main Arena, opposite the Carter Jonas Theatre, and throughout the weekend you can chat to experts on firearms, gamekeeping, gundogs, moving to non-lead ammunition, practical conservation, deer management, member discounts and much more.
New to the stand for 2022 is an interactive media zone, where you can watch BASC films, listen to the official BASC podcast, flick through a copy of Shooting and Conservation magazine or cast your vote in the Top Shots photography competition.
There are also plenty of chances for you to win some great prizes. Test your knowledge in our sustainable ammunition quiz to be in with the chance of winning a Winchester SX4 semi-automatic shotgun, courtesy of Browning.
We have also teamed up with Tanners Wine, too, giving you the opportunity to land a case of wine just by visiting the five BASC areas across the fair! Simply scan the QR code in each area with your smartphone camera and fill in your details to enter the draw.
Whether you’re a newcomer to shooting or an experienced shot, you’ll find something for everyone on the BASC coaching lines this year.
The BSA BASC airgun range offers tuition right across the weekend. You can also book a lesson here with one of BASC’s qualified shotgun coaches, whether you’ve never picked up a shotgun before, or are looking to take make some technical refinements to improve your shooting.
We are running Safe Shot assessments right across the weekend, click here to find out more and book in advance.
You will be able to book places for the airgun range, shotgun coaching line and Safe Shot assessments on the day, but there are only a limited number of spaces and it will be on a first-come-first-served basis. Be sure to head down early to bag a slot.
The BASC Scurry League also returns to The Game Fair this year, kindly sponsored by Skinner’s and Sporting Saint.
You can take part in competitions running across the three days in BASC’s gundog zone to be in with the chance of winning some great daily prizes, as well as qualifying for the Grand Final at Weston Park in September.
Click here to find out more about the Scurry League and how to enter.
If you have any gundog questions, drop in to chat with our BASC team on the main stand at any time.
The BASC Wild Food Theatre is a must-visit this weekend, with a host of top chefs cooking across all three days.
Chefs who will be showcasing their talents this year include the Yorkshire Shepherdess, Amanda Owen, former boyband star turned farmer JB Gill, and game champions Rachel Green and Jose Souto. BBC Good Food Show chef Mark Lloyd will also be sharing his culinary wisdom, alongside the Great British Menu’s George Farrugia.
If you are interested in finding out more about BASC and why you should join, our membership team will also be on hand all weekend to answer all your questions.
