Enter the BASC Lindisfarne raffle draw for an opportunity to win two days’ guided wildfowling for you and a friend at Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve.
This is your chance to win an unforgettable wildfowling trip to Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve in the company of Sir Johnny Scott.
Included in the prize is one night’s accommodation at The Lindisfarne Inn, complete with dinner, bed and breakfast. At dinner, you will be joined by Sir Johnny and your dedicated guide(s) from Newcastle Wildfowler’s Association.
This experience will take place on Sunday 16 and Monday 17 November 2025.
Lindisfarne is renowned for its remarkable birdlife and breathtaking landscapes. Recent counts recorded up to 13,000 pink-footed geese and 23,000 wigeon at the site. You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the challenge of the sport at its finest, against the backdrop of stunning sunrises and sunsets, and bring home healthy, sustainable and locally sourced game to share with family and friends.
BASC’s roots are firmly embedded in wildfowling and, from those roots, first planted by Stanley Duncan in the legendary Black Hut in 1908, we have grown into the association we are today. At present, BASC is recognised by the UK governments as the representative body for wildfowling. We are the only organisation with a dedicated wildfowling team and a commitment to the sport that has been upheld since 1908.
Proceeds from the competition will go towards BASC Young Shots wildfowling-related events. These enable us to introduce young people to wildfowling and the many skills, traditions and conservation practices that come with it.
Tickets cost £10 each and entries close on 30 September 2025. The draw will take place on 3 October 2025.
