Designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills required to undertake basic metallic cartridge reloading and is the perfect introduction to reloading.
The two-day course will provide the novice or less experienced home loader with a sturdy foundation of knowledge.
You will need to have a Firearms Certificate and your own rifle along with some reloading equipment.
On day one safety, law and technique will be dealt with in a classroom situation, and the practical aspects will introduce the basic equipment and safe techniques for reloading.
Day two will see you on the range testing loads developed the previous day.
The course allows candidates plenty of time to practice under supervision and develop a number of loads they can test the following day on the range.

Upon registering, you will be required to complete a checklist of equipment you currently have or will be acquiring prior to the course, and what you will be able to bring to the course.
This will enable the trainer to ensure he has the equipment to cover any shortfalls. Please be aware there may be occasions when BASC will not be able to cover the shortfalls.
You will need to have a Firearms Certificate, your own rifle, and some reloading equipment.
Should there be insufficient bookings, BASC reserves the right to cancel the course. In the interests of fairness, BASC will aim to provide candidates with notification of cancellation as soon as possible prior to the advertised start date.
We strongly recommend that fees for any accommodation you book are refundable as BASC will not be responsible for any losses incurred by candidates.
If for any reason you cancel your place on the course then the following scale of charges may apply:

BASC members who hold a valid firearms certificate can book on a BASC range day, which take place at Bisley.
