BASC North is celebrating a highly successful presence at the Northern Shooting Show.
More than 22,000 people attended this year’s event, with thousands of BASC members taking up the offer of complimentary entry. The show was packed full of trade stands, activities and demonstrations including the BASC-sponsored Hunter’s Kitchen.
Over the weekend BASC-accredited coaches provided 120 clay shooting lessons, raised £500 for the Gamekeepers Welfare Trust and oversaw almost 1,000 people signing up to the Act Now campaign.
As well as regional officers, staff from BASC’s firearms, conservation, wildfowling and deer departments were all on hand to field questions throughout the weekend.
Duncan Thomas, BASC North director, said: “The Northern Shooting Show never fails to deliver. It was a great event, and we are proud of BASC’s collaboration and presence at the show.
“A big thanks must go to the BASC team and volunteers who worked so hard throughout the run-up and during the weekend.”
For those who missed out on attending, BASC members also qualify for complimentary entry to The Game Fair in July. We look forward to seeing you there.
