The BASC .410 World Championships is back for 2026, bringing another brilliant day of skill, sportsmanship and sporting excellence to the shooting calendar.
Hosted by BASC, the event will take place on Saturday, 16 May 2026 at Oakedge Shooting Ground, running from 10am to 3.30pm.
This year marks an exciting change: the championships move across the border from Wales into England. In previous years, the event has been held at Mid Wales Shooting Ground, later moving to Dovey Valley Shooting Ground and Fauxdegla International Clay Centre.
This year it is set in beautiful parkland on the edge of Cannock Chase, at a ground renowned for its natural setting and consistently strong targets. The ground has previously hosted the British Open Sporting Clays Championship.Â
The event brings competitors from across the UK together for a day that’s friendly, welcoming and fiercely competitive in the best possible way.
With around 100 competitors plus spectators expected, the event promises a vibrant atmosphere and a great day out for everyone involved.
The competition is open to shooters of all backgrounds, with three competitive categories:
