Young shots in the south east have been improving their shooting skills at BASC events this month.

BASC hosted two successful Shotgun Progression Days in conjunction with West Kent Shooting School and Greenfield Entertainment at Common Leys Farm in Oxfordshire on 11 and 13 August.

The events were designed to give more experienced Young Shots the opportunity to improve their shooting under the guidance of BASC coaches.

BASC regional officer for the south east, Jenni Thompson, said: “We believe it’s very important to organise events for young shots where they can work on improving their shooting technique. The young shots really benefited from the guidance and support they were given by the BASC coaches and two of them successfully took their Safe Shot assessment.”
