BASC Northern Ireland in conjunction with the North Antrim Rifle and Pistol Club held a fantastic Young Shots activity day on Saturday 27th April.  Young Shots had the opportunity to shoot air rifle and .22 Rifle.  Young Shots also learnt about red squirrel conservation and about methods of grey squirrel control thanks to Joe Dowdall and Daniel McAfee from the Glens Red Squirrel Group (  BASC Northern Ireland would like to thank all the Young Shots and their parents who attended on the day.  Our thanks also to the North Antrim Rifle and Pistol Club for their input and hard work which ensured a fantastic day was enjoyed by all.  Thanks are also due to our sponsors Smyth’s Country Sports, Coleraine, Outdoor and Country Sports, Coleraine and Lough Foyle Wildfowlers Association for their support of the event.
