Young people in Staffordshire will be able to have a day out with a difference during their summer holidays this year.

BASC Midlands is introducing an exciting ‘hands on’ activity day for young people providing an insight into some of the many country sports available such as ferreting and falconry, clay shooting, air rifle shooting, gundog handling as well as demonstrations on gamekeeping and conservation.

The activity day on 15 August will be held on a private country estate on the edge of Burton-on-Trent close to the Derbyshire border. It is open to young people aged 8–18 years old and costs £15 per person.
