The first deer stalking village held at the Gamekeepers’ Fair at Catton Park in April was such a success it will remain a fixture of the event – and is certain to expand in future years.

Sponsored and attended by BushWear, the Staling 2010 ‘village’ included everyhting the professional deer manager could ask for and has set the standard.  Many stalkers who attended express the hope that this event would grow year on year and provide a focal point for deer managers form all over the UK.

Feedback is being collected from traders and visitors with a view to making the event bigger and better for next year.  If you are interested in being involved in Stalking 2011, please contact Steve Bloomfield at the Midland regional centre.

The whole show proved to be on of the most succesful since the move to Catton Park in 2006.  The glorious sunshine brought in more than 12,000 visitors over the two days to experience what one visitor referred to as "a proper game fair".
