It all started for me as a young boy learning the ways of the countryside from my Grandfather, then in my teens joining the army and enjoying 12 years, most years competing in the shooting team, I never lost my love of the countryside. I am the Chairman of a rifle and pistol club, a member of Lough Foyle Wildfowlers and a game shooting club. I have been a BASC volunteer for a number of years and particularly like the Young Shots days. Coaching the youths and seeing the pleasure they get out of shooting,

Michelle was born and brought up on the family farm in Surrey, taking an active part in working on the farm and business up until leaving college.  Moving away from home and farming, my career took me into the Printing, Advertising, Marketing and Communications sector, achieving significant success working on high profile advertising and marketing campaigns for both commercial and charitable organisations.

Deciding my passion for the Countryside was greater than city life, in 2006 a job opportunity with the Countryside Alliance as Regional Director became available and the decision for a change of lifestyle was made.

Now with 4 working dogs, a passion for game and clay shooting and all things Countryside, the chance once again to work in a regional capacity for Shooting and Conservation is an opportunity I am really looking forward to, plus getting to know members across; Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey and IOW.

Michelle is also a BASC accredited Shotgun Coach.
