BASC Accredited Shotgun Coach of the Year

2017 was the first year of the new ‘BASC Accredited Shotgun Coach Of the Year’ award.  Congratulations to Kelvin Pettitt for his fantastic contribution to coaching, a well-deserved winner!

To continue on from last year’s success BASC are pleased to announce that the award will be presented for the second time this year.

The award was created to recognise the great work of the BASC Accredited Shotgun Coaches and the winning coach will be presented with a perpetual shield during a ceremony at The Midland Game Fair in September.

Nominations for the award can be made by BASC members, BASC staff and BASC Accredited Shotgun Coaches.

Coaches can be nominated for any of the following reasons:

  • Special contribution
  • Development of a shooter (young shot)
  • Volunteering services
  • Long standing service
  • Best newcomer

Nominations for this year’s award have now closed. A panel will judge the winner who will then be invited to attend the presentation at Weston Park, Shropshire TF11 8LE on 15 & 16 September 2018.
