Following changes to DSC2 witnessing procedures, it is now necessary to hold new briefings for all accredited witnesses to the scheme.
Witnesses will shortly be receiving notification of alternative dates and locations for the briefings. Return slips will be provided, or may be downloaded from the DMQ website:
It should be noted that without attendance at a briefing, witnesses will no longer be “approved” and will not be able to participate.
It may be that up to date contact information is not held by DMQ in some cases. Any accredited witness who has not received direct notification by the end of February should contact DMQ at Marford Mill, Rossett, Wrexham LL12 0HL.

Notes to Editors:

Deer Management Qualifications (DMQ) is a company limited by guarantee, whose object is to act as the UK’s standard setting and award making body in the field of wild deer management. It accredits, inspects and exercises quality control over the assessment process, makes awards, and maintains a register of holders of the award of the Deer Stalking Certificate (DSC) at levels 1 and 2.
