BASC in association with The Deer Initiative are pleased to invite you to join them at one of three ‘Talking Stalking’ evening events to be held in Wales this March.

We welcome you to the second of these events at Newcastle Emlyn RFC, Carmarthenshire which will feature the following presentations concerning deer management from our guest speakers:

  • Patrick Faulkner (The Deer Initiative) –  How wolves change rivers – lynx and wild boar
  • David Jam (Natural Resources Wales) –  Expected use of thermal imagers
  • David Harris and John Morris (Welsh Government) –  Bovine TB and animal health update
  • Dr Suzanne Richardson (The Deer Initiative) – Decision support tool for deer management


Our experts will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Tickets cost £6.00 per person which includes a venison burger (or equivalent) and bar facilities will also be available.

Please note that out ‘Talking Stalking’ events always prove to be very popular so booking is essential due to the limited number of spaces available. We encourage you to please book early to avoid disappointment!
