10 places are available on this introductory course run in association with BASC. The limited number of places ensures that every dog and handler get the benefit of Frank’s long experience in training working dogs. Lunch will be provided.
The course will include
- Heel work
- Sit & stay
- Down & stay
- Steadiness to the dummy
- Sending the dog out
- Stopping the dog half way
- Sending the dog left & right
- Any questions & problems resolved and to teach how to achieve this
- How to start the dog hunting
Those attending will need to bring the following equipment:
- Slip lead
- Dummies (2)
- Appropriate clothing & Footwear for the conditions
- Water and bowl for the dog
- Dog towel
- A dog of not less than 8 months old
Dogs attending must have current inoculation or booster certificates for all recognised canine diseases, in-cluding parvo virus.
Should your dog come into season or be in contact with any infectious disease during the 6 weeks prior to the date of the event you will be asked not to attend and your payment will be refunded in full.
Places cost £55 for BASC members and £75 for non-members
