BASC Eastern Region are hosting a gundog training day on Sunday 23rd June 2019 at Worlaby house farms in Lincolnshire.

A beautiful setting for the day in the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB on a working farm and shooting estate where we can make use of all the obstacles your dog may come across out in the field.

Handlers will spend the morning in groups working with their dogs and trainers Lucinda Southern (gundog girls) and Paul Birkbeck ( UK team retriever) on popular training topics such as stop whistle, negotiating an obstacle, marking, building confidence in the dog to move from memories to blind retrieves, holding an area and directions.

After a morning of training a game themed picnic/BBQ will be provided for everyone.

After lunch a small competition will be set up and judged by the trainers with prizes given accordingly, including a prize for the most improved dog within the day.

Dogs must be 10months +

Cost: £35 for BASC members/ £45 for non members
