Orston Shooting Ground
Join Chiara King and the Femmes Fatales for their summer competition and celebrate the Glorious Twelfth and help to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
This is a special day hosted in rural Nottinghamshire on Saturday August 12th with Emily and the team at Orston Shooting Ground catering for both beginners and the more experienced shot. The team are looking to raise money for a great cause whilst giving ladies an introduction to the sport and running a separate competition for those with their own guns.
Shoot for a Great Cause
Macmillan is a fantastic charity and the work they do to support people who are diagnosed with cancer, throughout treatment and beyond is to help make sure no one faces cancer alone. In 2015 Macmillan reported that 2.5 million people were living with cancer highlighting how invaluable the work they do is and what a difference our support and any funds we raise can make.
The beginners category is for those with little or no shooting experience who don’t have their own shotgun. You’ll spend time with an instructor learning all about gun safety before heading out to start breaking those clays. The session will consist of practice first before then taking part in a fun competition.
The cost for beginners is £85 per person (Instruction & all equipment including cartridges provided)
For those with their own gun there is the experienced category consisting of a 100 bird sporting competition which includes a 20 bird grouse flush in the game arena. Please provide your CPSA number and classification if you have one on booking. Categories to be announced on the day.
The cost for experienced shots is £65 per person (Shotgun and cartridges not provided)
