BASC .410 World Championships 2017

This annual event will once again be held at Mid Wales Shooting Centre in Trefeglwys near Newtown, Powys on 23 September and is sponsored by Gamebore Cartridges.

This will be held over a 50 target sporting layout and is a re-entry competition, a Pool shoot will also be available. Entries will open at 10am and close at 2pm, with Open. Ladies, Junior (under 18 on the day) and a BASC Members class all competing for individual perpetual trophies and prizes. The highest score on the day from any class will be crowned BASC .410 World Champion 2017.

Entry fees are Juniors £10 and & £20 for all others. Anyone wishing to shoot in the BASC class must produce their membership card when entering otherwise they will be placed in the next suitable class

Jonathan Williams of MWSC will once again be setting up a fair but interesting course for all.

The .410 is the smallest of the popular shotgun gauges, firing a light charge of pellets, and would normally be used as an entry-level gun for young people and for close-quarter pest control. And this event really tests the ability of the competitors but also is an event for those wishing to dust of their .410’s and have some fun shooting clay targets. We look forward to seeing you all.
