Competitors are invited to attend this year’s BASC .410 World Championships on Saturday 19th October at the Mid Wales Shooting Centre near Caersws, Powys.

The event is organised by BASC and sponsored by Gamebore and involves a 50 target sporting layout competition using the smallest-calibre shotgun in general use. The competition celebrates the .410 which is the smallest of the popular shotgun gauges (firing a light charge of pellets) and would normally be used as an entry-level gun for young people and for close-quarter pest control.

Competitors can enter the open, Ladies, Junior (under 18 on the day) and BASC members’ classes plus a pool shoot.

The winners of each class will receive a trophy they can keep for a year, a salver to keep and a quantity of .410 Gamebore cartridges. People who take second and third place in each class will receive Gamebore cartridges. The overall high gun will be presented with the .410 World Championship Challenge Cup.

The competition will start at 10am with last entries at 2pm. No pre-booking is required.

Entry fees:
£20 Adults
£10 Juniors

Please note that anyone who would like to shoot in the BASC class must produce their membership card when entering otherwise they will be placed in the next suitable class.
