Young people in West Wales will have the chance to try country sports like clay shooting and falconry at a special event in March.

The Young Shots event, which has been organised by the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC), is being held at Ffynnonwen Country Pursuits, Aberporth near Cardigan on 28 March.

It will be an opportunity to try clay target shooting, air rifle target shooting and falconry as well as learning about gamekeeping and gundogs.

The day is open to non BASC members and will start at 10am and finish around 3pm. The day costs £15. For more information contact Meurig Rees at BASC Wales on 01239 851631.
