Members tell us what they want

Earlier this year BASC conducted an online satisfaction survey amongst its members living in Wales. The feedback respondents gave was very positive.

We asked you how satisfied you were with the BASC Wales’ pages of the Shooting & Conservation magazine

73% of survey respondents indicated they were satisfied.

Those respondents who indicated a level of dissatisfaction told us they wanted:-

  • more content
  • more events/notice of events
  • improved coverage across Wales
  • more pages

We asked you how satisfied you were with the BASC Wales’ area of the BASC website

72% of survey respondents indicated they were satisfied.

Those respondents who indicated a level of dissatisfaction told us they wanted:-

  • more content
  • improved coverage across Wales
  • pages updating more frequently
  • more events/notice of events

We asked if you agreed with the BASC Wales priorities

More than 90% of survey respondents agreed with all three of Wales’ priorities.

However, further priorities survey respondents would like to see addressed included:-

  • engagement with the police / licencing departments
  • access to training/social events/shooting opportunities
  • promotion of shooting / engagement with the general public

We asked how satisfied you were overall with the work carried out by BASC Wales overall during the past year

80% of survey respondents indicated they were satisfied.

Those respondents who indicated a level of dissatisfaction overall, told us they wanted:-

  • more events / notice of events
  • more awareness of the work BASC Wales does
  • more engagement with the members
