Simon Clarke & Mike Eveleigh - Bisley Rifle ShootingA MEMBER of BASC staff and a BASC council member will travel to Jersey this weekend to take part in an international shooting competition.

Mike Eveleigh, BASC’s senior firearms officer, and council member Martyn Jones will take part in the Supershot Challenge.

The competition, held at the Crabbé Ranges, has been organised by the Jersey Target Shooting Foundation. It will raise money for Headway Jersey, Autism Jersey, and will help fund the Jersey shooting teams attending the Commonwealth Games in Queensland Australia in April 2018.

Mike Eveleigh said: “The team and I are all looking forward to taking part in a variety of target shooting sports.

“The causes this competition is raising money for are all very important, and this is a chance to show the good that shooting sports can accomplish.”

The team took overall bronze last year.
